Battle Tanx is a multi player game you can play against the computer but also against a maximum of four people. The objective is to simply destroy your opponents and be the last one left standing.
When playing against the computer you can set the level of difficulty to either easy, medium or hard, which is great for replay value when gaming alone, but Battle Tanx is most fun when you play it against your friends.
Tanx is controlled by the keyboard and besides the basic movements has all kinds of weaponry on board, that can be activated using the right keys. It will take some getting used to, but most gamers who have been playing first person shooter games, should have little difficulty adapting to the controls for playing Battle Tanx.
When playing Battle Tanx you can choose from several locations, where you will be playing the games, like a parking lot, a suburb or a park. Any objects at the location can be used as temporary shelter, but be advised that your opponents can blast those away as well. In other words; do not stay too long in one spot or it will be a one way ticket to the scrap heap for your tank, and the game will be over.
