Tanks is a shooting game that can be played by up to two players, or against the computer. The objective is to take your opponents tank out, in a turn based tank duel.
In order to achieve this you can choose between regular small missiles and volcano bombs, and the latter will produce a much better effect as it blows into tiny pieces that will explode where they land.
Graphically Tanks is a very basic game, but overall a lot of fun to play. It is controlled by using the arrow keys of your keyboard to move and aim, and the spacebar to launch the missiles. There will definitely be a short learning curve to get the hang of those controls, but once you have a feel for the game, it becomes easy. Once you have launched your missile the turn goes to your opponent, who in turn will attempt to hit you with a missile.
Tanks requires some good strategic insight, in order to be able to hit your opponent and take him out. The games is the most fun playing against another person, but even when playing against the computer it will provide lots of fun, blasting your opponent from the mountain, or burying him under it.
