In Sub Commander you control a submarine and have to guide it to safety, while Rocks in the ocean, depth charges, and mines are trying to keep you from getting there.
The game is controlled by the mouse, and this by itself presents a challenge so move it safely through the ocean without hitting on a rock formation at the bottom of the ocean, but ships dropping depth charges and mines that have been deployed, make it an even greater challenge.
By pressing the left mouse button the submarine climbs, moving the mouse to the right accelerates the submarine while moving left will cause it to brake. These are your moves and you will have to use them to dodge mines and depth charges while avoiding rocks. Fortunately there are also health crates you can pick up, in order to recover from sustained damage, but will it be enough to make it through the level?
Sub Commander is a beautifully designed game, with excellent graphics and a real challenge, due to the odd controls and very active enemies, throwing everything at you but the kitchen sink!
