Submarines Attack is a classic arcade shooter where you control a navy ship and your mission is to blow all submarines out of the water using depth charges.
At first this seems like an easy task but as the game progresses and more submarines enter the game, this will become quite a challenge. Can you dodge their missiles and take them out at the same time and on top of that with several submarines at once?
Controlling your vessel is easy using the arrow keys to move it left or right and you can launch the depth charges pressing the space bar. However, beware of the fact that you cannot launch more than three charges at any given time!
Of course the enemy subs will not just be going back and forth waiting for you to take them out, they will fire back, so while you are blasting them with depth charges you will have to dodge their missiles if you are to survive!
Submarines Attack is graphically nicely done, but especially the sounds from the sonar add to the atmosphere creating an uncanny feeling, which will keep you focused at taking out the bad guys. Submarines Attack is one of the true classic arcade games, that used to be played at arcade halls all over the country during the eighties and most definitely a welcome sight for any gamer of that particular generation. Let’s relive those good old days, and blast those subs out of our waters!
