Tanks V2 is the sequel to the original Tanks game, with improved graphics and nicer backgrounds.
The game can be played with up to five players, and there is the option of playing it against the computer. The game play is identical to the original tanks game: Arrow keys to aim, space to fire, and just like the original, in V2 you get to choose between missiles and volcano bombs.
In Tanks V2 the computer has become more intelligent, and is much harder to beat. Tanks V2 cannot truly be called a sequel, but is more like a patched version of the original game, with many short comings taken out and improvements added. However, those improvements are mostly of a design nature, with better backgrounds, and more detailed graphics. Since the game itself is identical to the first, the term sequel is a bit of an overstatement.
Nevertheless this also means that Tanks V2 is equally fun to play as the original, and will not disappoint those who like turn based tank duel games, that involve lots of strategic insight, in order to take the enemy out.
The best feature of Tanks V2 is without a doubt its real multiplayer feature, which allows up to 5 players to join the game.
